Connections On-Site Training
Our newest program brings experiential training to the max with On-Site Training. The days of lectured in-services are over as Connections On-Site Training brings bi-weekly stand-up instruction of the communication strategies, with on-the-floor reinforcement of the techniques. This format gives endless opportunities to discuss, problem solve and reinforce best practices that create consistency with making an “emotional connection” during daily care.
Training is provided for nurses assistants, licensed staff, department heads and administration to build teamwork and support. Residents with specific behavioral issues are targeted to develop the best procedures with care that will reduce the need for psychotropic medications. Recommendations for facilities are given to document Connections On-Site Training interventions in compliance with Medicare guidelines to help decrease the overuse of unneeded pharmacological treatment.
At the completion of Connections On-Site Training, staff developers will have the tools and the materials needed to continue booster training and ongoing floor reinforcement.
